Margarita Fiesta Mix

1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 tablespoon tequila, if desired
2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
2 envelopes (from 3&1/3 oz package) instant margarita mix (dry)
4 cups Corn Chex
3 cups Rice Chex
2 cups Wheat Chex
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup small pretzel twists
1 cup dried cranberries or cherries

Heat oven to 250. Melt butter in large roastin pan in ove. Stir in tequila, seasoned salt, red pepper, and margarita mix (dry). Stir in cereals, nuts, and pretzels until evenly coated. Bake 1 hr, stirring every 15 min. Stir in creanberries. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container. 10 cups snack.

The Non-Girly Pink Drink

In a cocktail shaker, pour:
2 ounces light rum
1/2 ounce cranberry juice
1/2 ounce pomegranate juice
Shake with ice. Strain into glass and top with 2 ounces Sprite and 1 ounce lime juice. Stir, enjoy.

Spiked Pina Colada Pops

1 8-ounce can pineapple chunks (juice and all)
1 6-ounce can Coco Lopez Cream of Coconut
4 ounces rum (your choice!)

Combine everything in a blender. Pour mix into Popsicle molds with sticks and freeze overnight.

a version of Michelada

Rub lime juice on the tip of a pint glass, then coat rim with kosher salt. Fill with ice, several dashes of Worcestershire and hot sauces, plus some lime juice. Top with Mexican beer. Stir, drink, repeat.

The cure-all

One part tequila, two parts pineapple juice, and two pureed kiwis.

The mooovie star

Steep several slices of fresh ginger in a bottle of vodka for a week. Then pour one part ginger-infused vodka with two parts spicy ginger beer (note: not ginger ale) over ice and mint leaves.

Drink your dessert

All you need for this is a finger for stirring, one part rum, two parts pineapple juice, two tablespoons of coconut cream and juice from half a lemon. Shake until frothy.

The Lava Lamp of Libations

If you pour this sweet, tart drink properly, you'll get the reference. Fill your glass with crushed ice, then slowly pour one part Pama pomegranate liqueur followed by two parts seltzer. Give it a squeeze of lime.

M&M's Golden Flix Mix

M&M's Golden Flix Mix

12 cups freshly popped popcorn (2 cups unpopped kernels) or two bags of just-popped microwave popcorn 
2 cups whole, roasted, salted peacans
1 cup crystallized ginger chopped (optional)
2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 pound butter (2 sticks)
1 teaspoon panila powder (optional)
1 (14 ounce) package M&M'S chocolate candies (2 cups)

Preaheat oven to 250 degrees. Line a baking sheet with waxed paper and set aside

Place popcorn, pecans, and ginger in a large bowl. Stir to combine and set aside.

Place sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a medium, non-stick saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and let cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla powder.

Pour over popcorn mixture. Stir to coat mixture evenly. Place mixture on waxed-paper-lined baking sheet. Put in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes. 

Pour M&M'S over popcorn mixture on baking sheet. Transfer to large serving bowl.
